Keiron Printing Technologies

Keiron Printing Technologies B.V. (Eindhoven) commercializes a laser-induced forward transfer (LIFT) platform for solder paste deposition in electronics assembly. The technology replaces stencil printing with digital, data-driven deposition, targeting the global SMT market.
TD Shepherd supported the investor syndicate, led by Invest-NL, throughout both phases of the investment evaluation:

Pre-term sheet: Conducted an initial due diligence assessing technology readiness, market opportunity, competitive position, and team. This phase informed the syndicate’s decision to issue a term sheet.

Post-term sheet: Performed a comprehensive confirmatory due diligence ahead of closing. The scope included commercial validation through independent industry expert interviews (EMS manufacturers and PCB industry experts), financial plan and unit economics analysis, scenario modelling, manufacturing and supply chain assessment, IP portfolio and freedom-to-operate review, and evaluation of the legal and governance structure. The assessment was built on a structured scoring methodology across 11 assessment areas, grounded in dataroom evidence.

Innoseis Sensor Technologies

Innoseis Sensor Technologies is a Dutch deep-tech company specializing in the development and commercialization of high‑precision, low‑power MEMS-based seismic and inertial sensors.
Founded in 2013 as a spin-off from Nikhef (the Netherlands Institute for Subatomic Physics) by Dr. Mark Beker and Prof. Johannes van den Brand, transferring advanced research in gravitational-wave detection into commercial sensor tech.
Currently, they develop the world’s smallest and most sensitive MEMS accelerometers—just 9×9×3 mm and 1.5 g—with groundbreaking sensitivity, stability, and ultra-low power (≈20 mW). Their sensors are already deployed in energy, geothermal, environmental, aerospace, and infrastructure sectors. TD Shepherd supports Innoseis Sensor Technologies throughout the entire process of raising its Series A round.
