Funding for Res2 from Synergia Capital Partners

We supported Res2’s shareholders in facilitating growth capital from Synergia Capital Partners.

Res2’s iPort Departure Control System is next-generation software whose sole purpose is to handle the entire airline passenger departure process, from online or airport check-in and seat assignment through ancillary services, baggage processing, ground handling, and load control to boarding and departure processing. The software is a mission-critical application, global by definition and offered as a service (SaaS). iPort has already rolled out in more than 100 airports worldwide. When Res2 sought financing for its global expansion plan, its shareholders asked us to help position the company as a high-potential investment opportunity to the right category investors.

Our role

We were pleased to work very closely with CEO Hans van Engelen and CTO Cees Mul to select Synergia Capital Partners as the best match among the many venture capital firms that found Res2 a highly attractive proposition. As we predicted, Synergia has been an excellent fit for Res2’s team and its ambitions.

What happened next?

Res2 is expanding rapidly and has doubled the number of airline passengers handled by the iPort Departure Control System every year for the past X years, making the company a serious challenger to the market’s traditional vendors.
