€2.5M H2020 EASME Grant. Withlocals: marketplace for traveler and local entrepreneur

After TD Shepherd’s work with FLXOne, it was asked by the Greenhouse Group to take on the challenge of finding funding for another recent startup in their incubator: Withlocals B.V. Withlocals provides a market place where traveler and local meet: locals offering unique experiences, frequently with a culinary ingredient; travelers connect with the local and can personalize the offering before ordering the experience. TD Shepherd prepared the proposal for the grant application and guided it successfully through the application process, resulting in the approval of the project (ECINPERSON) and funding, the only EASME phase 2 grant to be approved in that period (application March 2015).
