About us Marco
Marco started his professional career at BOPS, a semiconductor startup in the United States, growing into management and raising over $65M. After living for 7 years in the U.S. he started working for Philips in Eindhoven and held a management position at semiconductor startup Silicon Hive which was successfully acquired by Intel. As VP Marketing at videantis, he worked with automotive Tier 1, OEMs, and semiconductor manufacturers to bring new autonomous driving and ADAS applications to vehicles.
He has a wealth of experience in growing companies, and bringing systems that merge AI, computer vision, and smart algorithms to market. He understands these technologies thoroughly: from semiconductor to system, from algorithm to application, from concept to consumer, and from raising funds to arranging exits.
Marco studied computer science in Delft and performed his thesis work in augmented reality at the University of North Carolina. Marco holds 7 issued patents.
